Four individuals have been detained following visuals showing former President Donald Trump alongside deceased sex offender were projected upon Windsor Castle.
The demonstration unfolded just before the president's official visit to Britain, where he is set to be hosted by King Charles.
Incident Overview
On Tuesday evening, activists revealed a enormous placard including a photograph of Donald Trump with Jeffrey Epstein close to the castle.
Subsequently, visuals were displayed several pictures onto one of the castle’s towers.
Law enforcement stated that the individuals are being held on suspicion of malicious communications.
Historical Details
Last week, a birthday letter reportedly sent by Trump to Jeffrey Epstein was made public by Democrats.
The note appeared as well onto Windsor, along with photos of those affected, coverage, and official documents.
The message within the note contained a conversation between Trump and Epstein, in which Trump calls him as a "pal".
Political Repercussions
The publication of these materials has generated renewed attention to the association of Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein.
Even with attempts to focus elsewhere, attention regarding Epstein’s crimes remains high.
The police described the incident as an “unauthorized demonstration”.
The president and the financier are reported to have been friends preceding his election.
But, they allegedly parted ways years before Epstein’s death.
