Sir Keir Starmer to Push Allies on Advanced Missile Systems for Ukrainian Forces at London Conference
The UK Prime Minister is expected to urge supporting countries to provide Ukraine with more extended-range weaponry to hit enemy locations during a meeting in the UK capital on this Friday.
Sir Keir will host Ukraine's leader the Ukrainian head of state alongside the so-called "alliance of supportive nations", comprising over twenty of Kyiv's partners who have pledged to grant Kyiv protection commitments once fighting stops is negotiated.
Ukraine's president has been appealing for an extended period for additional long-range weapons from allied countries, a step that the Russian government has stated would worsen the war.
Ukraine's leader is journeying from Belgium, where he held talks with EU leaders on the previous day seeking economic assistance.
"The only person involved in current hostilities who does not want to end the war is Vladimir Putin," the Prime Minister said.
Britain's leader furthermore announce that a hundred further air defense systems will be delivered to Ukraine ahead of schedule, as specified in a multi-billion pound agreement concluded between the United Kingdom and Ukraine in spring.

The Ukrainian president travels after two diplomatic wins recently: Donald Trump's decision to implement further sanctions against Russia, and the European Union agreeing to finance a Ukrainian budget hole.

Sir Keir will encourage participants to expand the supply of advanced missile technology following a successful strike on an industrial facility in Bryansk, the Russian Federation, using Britain-delivered Storm Shadow missiles.
"And his depraved assaults on young children in a daycare this week make that perfectly obvious," he added.
A pair of children were part of no fewer than seven killed in a wave of Russian strikes on Ukrainian territory, which hit a daycare center in the second biggest city the eastern city.

Sir Keir will discuss with Western allies on methods to withdraw Russia's petroleum resources off the global market.
